Appointment to Landlord Committee on Southern Cross breakup

Vector has been appointed to the Landlord Committee to represent landlords of over 60 Southern Cross homes. They join representatives from NHP, Four Seasons, London & Regional and Grant Thornton which make up around 75% of all landlords within the Group.

Nottingham turnkey sale to Avery completes

In September 2011, Vector completed the sale of a 78 bed high quality care home development to Avery Care Homes for a price equivalent to £75,500 per bed. The sale included an adjacent site for expansion.

Vector acted for the developer, Prestige. The sale generated £6.289m for Prestige, which included the site and a full turnkey completion for Avery. For further information, please contact Richard Harris

Two Balhousie sale and leasebacks complete

In October 2011, Vector successfully completed the sale of two new build care homes in Dundee and Cooper Angus on behalf of Balhousie Care. Over £7.1m was generated from the sales, let on 30 year leases at a rent of over £566k.

 

Vector sell 64 bed care home in Belfast

In March 2011 Vector sold a modern care home for £4.116M on behalf of NMC Developments. The home was operated by the Priory Group who were paying a rent of £303,232 per annum.

Vector shortlisted as finalist in Healthinvestor Awards 2011

We are pleased to announce that Vector Property Group have been shortlisted as finalist in the forthcoming Healthinvestor Awards within the Property Consultant category.

The award evening will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 2nd June 2011.

Maria Mallaband development funding completed

In Q1 of 2011, Vector successfully identified a fund to acquire a site and finance the development of a 50 bed dementia unit and 12 assisted living apartments from Maria Mallaband in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.

Priory Coxlease School sold for £16.25m

During the last quarter of 2010, Vector successfully sold the freehold interest of Coxlease, a specialist school operated by The Priory Group for children with EBSD and Autism.Price achieved £16.25m. Priory agreed a 30 year lease with annual RPI rental uplifts, collared and capped at 2% and 5% respectively.

£40m sales for Priory now completed

In August 2010, we successfully completed the final tranche of sale and leasebacks of new build care homes for The Priory Group totalling over 500 beds in 7 homes. Locations included Bourne, Bradford, Stoke, Leeds, Prestwick, Wednesfield and Cockermouth.

First Priory sale and leasebacks now complete

On behalf of The Priory Group, Vector completed the the first of several freehold sales in a programme of sale and leasebacks of new, purpose built nursing home facilities.

Vector has recently been instructed to advise on a programme of sale and leasebacks on behalf of The Priory Group, the largest independent operator of specialist mental health and education services in the UK.
